TAXIDERMY

In my spare time between tattooing and murals, I do taxidermy!  I grew up in a family of hunters and have always been interested in animals, insects, and biology in general.  Life cycles from birth to decay fascinate me.  All of the creatures that you see me work with here have been ethically sourced. I do NOT ever condone killing an animal for the sole purpose of artwork.  All animals have either been hunted for food purposes, been found dead, been given to me from a pet store, vets office, or someone’s pet, or are my own personal pets. I do this work because I feel  it is important to honour as much of a passed being as possible, no matter how big or small. 

I post these pieces on Instagram, and I don’t have a set timeline for when these pieces come out, just when I have time! I will make announcements a few days prior to selling pieces. 

SERVICES I PROVIDE

The most common thing I make are things like you see in the gallery down below.  I make these pieces whenever I have time, based on the materials and creatures I have on hand.  I can usually do custom pieces if you have a specific insect in mind, specific birds/reptiles/mammals are more difficult for me to get!  I also can do pieces with pets, depending on the animal and its condition.  If you are a hunter, I can also clean skulls (depending on size of the animal!) like rabbits, deer, birds etc.
